Supplier Quality Analyst

Responsibilities of Position:

  1. Secure, monitor and maintain production readiness and process capability of our suppliers.
  2. Coordinate APQP implementation for new program/part modification or processes.
  3. Ensure acceptable supplier PPAP packages on time, first time right to ensure flawless launch,
  4. Monitor and follow up of component quality after release for supplier compliance.
  5. Implement “lessons learned” from existing business / product in new program / parts.
  6. Initiate and monitor supplier changes and process / part deviations within TI’s change management systems.
  7. Analyses supplier production processes and quality trend rates to identify and solve problems.
  8. Reviews analyses and statistical presentation prepared by others for procedural accuracy and theoretical correctness.
  9. Perform supplier APQP, SBIC and PPAP audits and follow-up on corrective actions for closure.

Skill Requirements:

  1. Regular and predictable attendance.
  2. Formulates and recommends TI policy.
  3. Self-directed with a high degree of self-motivation.
  4. Proficient computer skills and abilities with Microsoft Office products.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  6. Ability to read blue print / drawings.

Experience Requirements:

  1. Some production or manufacturing experience.
  2. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management
  3. 2-3 years quality experience.

Licensing or Special Certification Requirements:

  1. Valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time.
  2. Regular travels to supplier sites.


A degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
