Sales Analyst

Position Summary:

Conducts analyses of the sales patterns o the organization’s products. Conducts analyses and produces sales and prospect reports. Interacts with established customers, and identifies new prospects as directed.

Responsibilities of Position:

  1. Applies a broad knowledge of TI Fluid Systems and its products and capabilities to develop and close sales at existing accounts.
  2. Implements sales plans and marketing programs to achieve sales goals. Conducts analyses of performance to goals by customer.
  3. Maintains the Company’s sales and marketing programs within assigned market segment and produces reports regarding effectiveness.
  4. Maintains timing schedule of customer programs and assists in its implementation.
  5. May inform customers of supply and price trends, provides input to customer planning as directed.
  6. Participates in customers inventory control efforts.
  7. Secures and renews orders, arranges for delivery date and answers customer questions.
  8. Prepares customer quotations, presents quotations, and collects feedback for reports and recommendations.
  9. Keeps records and produces analyses and reports on customer activities, needs, trends and goals.
  10. Listens to complaints, analyses reasons and develops solution alternatives to make recommendations and suggestions.
  11. Performs such individual assignments as supervisors and superiors may direct; ensures adequate and continuous control is exercised over all assigned activities affecting quality; establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the company, facility and department.
  12. May lead and direct the work of others.
  13. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  14. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.

Skill Requirements:

  1. Regular and predictable attendance.

Experience Requirements:

  1. Possesses good judgment and interaction skill.
  2. Has some technical expertise typically evidenced by engineering training.

Licensing or Special Certification Requirements:

  1. Valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time.
  2. Regularly travels to plant, vendor, and customer sites.

Working Conditions:

  1. Occasionally lifts and carries up to 15 pounds.
  2. Works at telephone answering equipment and at a PC for hours at a time.
  3. Works within a automotive components manufacturing office setting and is occasionally exposed to heat, cold, wet, and fumes/chemicals.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related business degree.
