Position Summary:

The Main role is to support Office based and remote users, while maintaining and improving systems that are hosted on local Virtual environment. It will be the candidates responsibility to ensure that all systems are patched and have full Antivirus protection, our management system agent installed and the software lifecycle of operating systems is adhered to. They will also be required to monitor system backups, changing tapes on a weekly basis and reporting any issues to the Global Infrastructure team. The role involves local first line user support of the companies ERP system and of the manufacturing data collection systems. In a more expanded role, they should have the ability to develop IT budgets, work with global teams to configure and maintain hardware infrastructure, implement global infrastructure hardware and software projects at a local level, and work with the Central IT Teams to ensure all processes, procedures and policies are fully implemented. Regular travel to facilities under control is expected.

Responsibilities of Position:

1. Installing and Configuring Desktops and Laptops.

2. Maintaining Windows Server Environment.

3. Support of office, factory based and remote users.

4. Support on corporate ERP components and local applications

5. Provide Training to new and existing staff.

6. Administration of Cisco Phone System (CCM).

7. Administration of Webex Meeting Center environment.

8. Mobile Phone support.

9. Hardware Procurement.

10. Liaise with software and hardware vendors for problem solving

11. Creation and maintenance of IT Budgets

Skill Requirements:

1 Windows 7 /8 /10 & Windows 2008-2016 Knowledge

2. Good Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

3. Telephone management.

4. Ability to install and administer computer hardware and software.

5. Problem solving and diagnostic experience.

6. Good prioritization skills.

7. Good communication skills.

8. Works Well as part of a larger team and strong focus on customer care.

Education:

BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
